Alpha 77 is one of the more attractive ones now. It is SLT, standing for "Single Lens Translucent". This means one will peek into a "view finder" of a small monitor (aka EVF), instead of the reflected image directly from the lens. Frankly, this is quite a big change for me, and hardly acceptable at the beginning. But this huge change also means super composing of information, faster shooting speed (up to 12 frames per second!).   Other than the argument of view finder, I found that it has many attractive features

  There are many situtations when it is hard to get a photography with good contrast, or dynamic range. One example is a cloudy day, or a shiny day around noon time. In both cases, things all look either too dull or too bright both in color and brightness. As a result, the photographs all look very "flat", with details less obvious, and more two dimentional than three.   There are two quick solution is to improve the contras, or dynamic range of a photograph. One is to adjust the brightness, and the other is to adjust the tone curve. Below is an exmaple when using Adobe's lightroom.   The original photograph below is taken in a fine and cloudless day, has a histogram mostly assembled around the center. The eroded surface of the stone is not obvious as it actually is.   By reducing the brightness as below, the contrast becomes higher and the surface erosion becomes more obvious, or more three dimensional.     スマートフォンやiPod Touch、WiFi版タブレット等のカメラで撮影した画像に不満を感じ始めると、より専門的なカメラの購入を考え始める時です。     しかし、今はデジタルカメラの全盛時期であり、デジタルカメラのモデルといい、種類といい、数え切れないほどあります。それで、一体どのようなカメラを買えばいいかを迷っている方は大勢いらっしゃいます。     では、自分にとってはどのよなカメラとレンズは一番合っているでしょうか。何を基準に選び、どのような仕様に拘ったほうがいいでしょうか。     答えは、一つではありませんが、一言でいえば、まず自分の主な 使い道 は何であるかによって決まります。     主に考えたいのは、以下の要素でしょう。尚、念のために、主要な用語を最後にまとめました。 携帯性 （重量・収納等） 被写体 写真の使い方 （ 画質 、 画像解像度 等の決めて）     携帯性は第一であれば、小型のカメラを選ぶしかなくなります。特に常時ポケットに入れておきたい場合、小型のコンパクト・デジタルカメラ（通称コンデジ）を買うしかなくなります。鞄に入ればよいという場合、ミラーレスのフォーサードタイプか、ソニーのNEXシリーズや、ニコンのJ2かキャノンが9月29日発売予定のEOS M等までは候補になります。 　　参考リンク４にも書いてある通り、カメラを選択時の基本的な比較要素は基本的に以下の２年です。それはコンパクトであろうが、一眼レフであろうが共通です。 レンズが明るい （広角側開放Ｆ値2.0より明るいことが目安） 撮像素子が大きい     被写体はすこし難しい話にはなります。 景色・風景 や スナップ写真 、 マクロ や ポートレート （人物写真）をメインに撮りたい場合、 コンデジ や ミラーレス 、あるいは入門レベルの 一眼レフデジタルカメラ （通称 イチデジ ）までは十分です。イチデジを選んだ場合は、 レンズキッド でまず十分でしょう。    被写体は花や昆虫、人物などで、背景をぼかして撮りたい場合、絞りの大きいカメラ(一眼レフならば、レンズ)が必要になってきます。この場合、コンデジでは大体難しくなります。解放絞りが大きい（例えばF値1.8や1.4）機種もありますが、大体 広角焦点距離 でしかなって

  While a good picture of static objects like scenery depends on timing, lighting, accessibility etc., that of flying or moving objects mainly depend on their speed.   One common solution is to move the focusing point in the same direction and speed as that of the object while pressing shutter. This is also called panning. This will get clear images of the object and a blurring background, dramatizing the moving effect of the object.   The second solution is to increase the shutter speed as faster as possible. This also applies to panning to certain extend, because in the later case, its more challenging for one to control the shaking of the lens or camera body.   As per the universal rule of photography, higher speed is always the key to a clearer image, less blur. To achieve high shutter speed, one sometimes has to sacrifice image quality, using as high an ISO value as one can accept.     せっかく時間と手間を掛けたのに、思ったほど綺麗な写真を撮れていない経験ありませんか。特にAFでシステムの表示ではピントが完璧に合っていることになっているのに、思ったほどシャープな画像を撮れなかった経験はありませんか。     この場合、カメラのAF微調整が必要になってきます。大体上位機種にしかない機能ではありますが、Canonや、Nikon、Sony、Pentaxなどのカメラをお持ちであれば、マニュアルを調べてみた方がいいかもしれません。     自信のない方は、それぞれメーカーのサービスセンターに持っていて、プロに任せることもできます。いずれの場合、俗に言う後ピンと前ピンを修正することができます。因みに、 早わかり用語辞典 の前ピン・後ピンに関する定義は以下の通りです。 ピントが被写体に合っていなくて、被写体の前後どちらかにズレていることを指す。被写体よりも前にピントが合っていれば前ピン、後に合っていれば後ピンという。被写界深度は手前に浅く、後方に深いので、前ピンのほうがまだ被写体にある程度ピントが合うが、後ピンは完全なピンボケになってしまうことが多い。マニュアルでピントを合わせる時は気をつけたい。 参考リンク ニコンD300　AF微調節の使い方 ベストピント調整の方法 Camera AF Microadjustment　- for free ：無料でAF微調整する方法を紹介する。モアレ画像そのものもダウンロードできます。 AF Microadjustment: A Detailed Look ：キャノンカメラのAF微調整に関する技術紹介です。 後ピン傾向だったので、ＡＦ微調整を実施しました ：D700を使ったAF微調整の例です。 AF微調整をがっちり合わせる方法 （山岳写真家村田一郎の独り言）：ライブビュー機能を使ってAF微調整をする裏技です。 SD1 の AF を調整してみた :「 SD1 ではピント合わせに AF を使ってはいけない」という結論だそうです。 -----------英語版------------------     Frustrated by bad focusing when taking photographs?
